In addition, you automatically use Rabo Smart Pay for free. In the associated dashboard, you always have insight into all your payments at a glance and you can easily manage your payment options.

What do you need:
- To use Tap to Pay: an Android smartphone or tablet with an NFC chip.
- To use the card reader: A Bluetooth connection on your device and the Rabo SmartPin card reader, which you will receive after you have concluded a Rabo SmartPin agreement with Rabobank.

You can transfer Tap to Pay to another device via the Smart Pay dashboard
(Self-service - Payment terminals - Actions - Switch device).
Scan the QR code with the new device. Location must be enabled because card payments (from May 1) are only allowed within the EU.
Location is not stored, only used to check. For SmartPin with card reader,
your device must have at least Android 10 and for for Tap to Pay at least Android 12 (from 23/4/2025).
This version also includes bug fixes.

Voor Tap to Pay zijn er een aantal verbeteringen doorgevoerd (o.a. rondom activatie). Daarnaast is het nu ook mogelijk om een dagelijkse export vanuit SmartPin te ontvangen. Tot slot zijn er een aantal kleinere verbeteringen en bug-fixes toegevoegd.

Gebruik je producten? Dan opent de app nu direct in het producten kassascherm. Start nu vanuit je kassa de betaling en sla het betaalkeuzescherm over. Tik op ‘Reken af’ en de pinbetaling wordt direct gestart. Via Tap to Pay, of op de kaartlezer als deze is verbonden. Wil je een referentie toevoegen, fooi ontvangen, betaalverzoek sturen of een betaling splitsen?Tik op de drie puntjes en handel de betaling af zoals je gewend bent.

Nieuw in deze versie is de ondersteuning van de Tap to Pay functionaliteit. Hiermee kun je je telefoon gebruiken als pinautomaat en is de aparte kaartlezer niet meer nodig. Let op; je toestel dient wel te beschikken over een NFC chip en minmaal Android versie 9
